Prelaunch commercial for the Uber of learning and teaching experiences, Xpeeria! Writing, Directing, Cinematography, Post Production

Xpeeria asked me to come up with a unique concept that intuitively explained their startup, which is an app platform that connects coaches with skills with those who want to learn in an Uber-like experience.
I wanted a continuous, 360º shot to go through several vignettes, as we travel through several learning scenarios with one experiencer (who happens to be the CEO, in this case!). Time, and budget, suggested that I couldn't use a motion control rig. Nailing performances sometimes had a 20 minute window, and missing cues with programmes movements in the camera just couldn't happen. So, I used my 360º GoPro VR rig, filmed everything static, and then did all the camera moves in After Effects. This ensured that I had ultimate control over timing and the pace of movement to keep up with the performances while maintaining a very aggressive schedule. Win/win!
